On Feb 1 in Yangon, Issara Academy conducted our third training for Myanmar recruitment agencies, with 38 participants from 27 RAs. In addition to participatory material on migrant worker rights and #ethicalrecruitment practice, this training covered more detail on the Thailand Labor Protection Act (LPA) to improve RA support of workers while in country. “This training is effective for all participants because we can learn updated laws and policies of Thailand, case studies for accountabilities of agencies side, and other valuable knowledge.
